Many perfectly good computers wonโt qualify for Windows 11 upgrades due to hardware requirements. Instead of discarding these machines, learn how to give them new life with Linux โ a free, secure, and modern operating system!
โ Is This Workshop for You?
This workshop is perfect if you:
- โ Have old PCs gathering dust and arenโt sure what sensitive data they contain
- โ Want to repurpose machines for media streaming, basic gaming, or personal projects
- โ Prefer backing up to USB instead of holding onto outdated systems
- โ Are curious about Linux but donโt know where to start
- โ Would rather save money than buy new hardware
๐ Mac Users Welcome!
While macOS isnโt Linux, it shares UNIX roots. Weโll explore directory structures and Terminal commands, with optional tips for modern Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.
